A 47-year-old patient in a good general condition, without chronic diseases, went to the doctor in an outpatient clinic due to tarry stool a few hours earlier. In the rectal examination, tarry stool was found, in the orthostatic test the blood pressure dropped to 90/60mmHg and the heart rate increased to 100 BPM. In this patient we should urgently:

A. mark complete blood count and make further decision about hospitalization dependent on the result

B. treat in the surgical ward

C. refer to the bleeding treatment center

D. the symptoms indicate a loss of approximately 1000 ml of blood

E. administer PPI, fluids, mark complete blood count, perform gastroscopy within 24 h
