The spread of bacterial rhinosinusitis is an indication for antibiotic therapy. The medication of choice in an adult patient in such cases is:

A. amoxicillin in a dose of 1.5-2 g saily, given every 12 hours for 10- 14 days
B. amoxicillin and clavulanic acid in a dose of 1g (875 mg+125 mg) every 12 hours for 7 days.
C. amoxicillin in a dose of 3 g daily, given every 8 hours for 7-10 days.
D. amoxicillin and clavulanic acid in a dose of 625 mg (500 mg+ 125 mg) every 12 hours for 7-10 days
E. azithromycin in a dose of 500 mg daily for 6 subsequent days.
